Quadski. It's available for the first time in So-Flo and our Deco
Donovan's dared to check it out.
Driving a four wheeler into a lake, probably not a good idea, unless you have a one of these.
Peter Wallace: "What you have here is the Quadski. It's by a company called Gibb and it's an amphibious vehicle, it's off-road and water craft all rolled into one."
Suffice to say the Quadski gives new meaning to the term off-road, as this all terrain vehicle can also swim and not like a duck either.
With speeds surpassing 45 miles per hour, the new found fun you'll encounter is like no other.
Peter Wallace: "You can take it to the beach, people on ATV, next thing you're riding out in the water. There you are; jetski, ATV all in one."
I'm on board, lanyard ho! And start 'er up!
I was raring to go. Just gotta let off the brakes first but then I found my sea legs.
Wheels up in seconds I'm off and this baby hauls butt.
Not a bad day's work I must say. I didn't want it to end.
The Quadski's available for now only at Riva Motorsports in Pompano Beach and it doesn't come cheap.
Donovan Campbell: "This is no chump change item?
Peter Wallace: "It's not that bad. The MSRP is 47,900, that's for the two passenger or XL model. You can get the one passenger for right around $44,000."
But it's so much fun you're gonna want the two seater.
Donovan Campbell: "I know it can can also be a chic magnet when you roll around in this. You do pretty well with the ladies."
Peter Wallace: "I would have to agree."
Peter Wallace: "It draws a lot of attention. We were just at the boat show, probably one of the biggest attention grabbers in the entire convention center."
Donovan Campbell: "It does make me look cooler doesn't it? Just another day at the office on Deco Drive."
